Our Assessment-Led Remedial Care Approach

Every appointment follows a professional remedial care process designed to support safe, consistent and individualised treatment.

Why We Prioritise Assessment Before Treatment

Our approach is based on listening, consultation and professional remedial care.
Depending on the client’s presentation and treatment needs, an appointment may include discussion of health history, assessment of treatment needs, treatment suitability checks, pressure preference, treatment planning, therapeutic treatment, treatment notes and aftercare advice.

1

Initial Client Consultation

The practitioner discusses the client’s presenting concerns, relevant health history, pain areas, mobility issues, recovery needs, pregnancy status, injury history, occupation-related strain or sports activity.

2

Assessment of Treatment Needs

The practitioner identifies relevant soft tissue concerns and considers posture-related tension, movement restriction, contraindications, treatment suitability, pressure tolerance and the client’s treatment goals.

3

Individualised Treatment Planning

The practitioner develops a treatment approach based on the client’s condition, presentation and therapeutic goals. This may involve remedial massage, deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, myofascial cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy-specific positioning, dry needling where appropriate, or other suitable therapeutic techniques.

4

Therapeutic Treatment Delivery

Treatment is provided in a professional clinic environment using appropriate techniques, pressure levels and modifications according to the client’s presentation, comfort level and treatment suitability.

5

Treatment Notes & Clinical Documentation

Relevant treatment notes may be recorded to support treatment consistency, client communication, follow-up care and practitioner standards.

6

Aftercare & Ongoing Treatment Guidance

The practitioner may provide aftercare guidance, stretching advice, hydration reminders, recovery suggestions, treatment frequency recommendations or referral suggestions where appropriate.
